Halloween Tajine

Main Ingredient : Pumpkin
Servings : 0 persons
Published date : November 20, 2016

Ingredients used in Halloween Tajine
• Pumpkin - 1 number.
• Onion - 1 number.
• Garlic - 4 cloves.
• Olive oil - half cup.
• Thyme - 1 tea spoon.
• Potato - 1 number.
• Green beans - 1 cup.
Method:
  • Cut a 4 inch hole around the stem of the pumpkin. Remove the strings and seeds. Set aside.
  • Sautee the onions in the oil. Add all other ingredients (except the pumpkin). Bring to boil and then simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Spoon or pour the stew into the pumpkin as it sits on a shallow baking dish. Put the lid on the pumpkin. Coat the outside of the pumpkin with oil. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
  • Let everyone admire the dish before peeling the pumpkin (just the thin outside skin), dishing out some stew and cutting up the flesh and adding to the stew.
  • This makes enough for 6-10 people depending on the size of the pumpkin.
