Ingredients used in Gold Coin Vegetable
• Coriander leaves (finely chopped) - 1 bunch.
• Spinach (blanched and chopped) - 1 bunch.
• Sesame seeds - 1/2 cup.
• Green chilies (finely chopped) - 3 numbers.
• Salt - to taste.
• Beans (finely chopped) - 1/2 cup.
• Corn (crushed) - 1/4 cup.
• Potato (boiled and mashed) - 1/2 cup.
• Carrot (finely chopped) - 1/2 cup.
• All purpose flour - 2 tablespoons.
• Oil - as required.
• Water - as required.
Method:
  • Take a bowl, add boiled potatoes (mashed), crushed corns, chopped beans, chopped carrots, blanched and chopped spinach, chopped green chilies, chopped coriander, all purpose flour, and salt, mix it like a dough.
  • Make a slurry of maida by using water.
  • Cut rounds from the bread slices using a cutter or lid.
  • Take the mixture put it on the bread slice, apply Maida slurry and sprinkle sesame seeds.
  • At last, deep fry in hot oil on a medium flame till golden in colour on both sides or in frier by setting it to 170 degree centigrade .

Serve this hot with chili garlic sauce.

Recipe of Gold Coins Vegetable:

Ingredients:

  1. Coriander leaves      -       1 bunch
  2. Spinach                   -       1 bunch
  3. Sesame seeds          -       ½ cup
  4. Green chillies           -       3 nos
  5. Salt                          -       to taste
  6. Beans, chopped       -       ½ cup
  7. Corn, crushed          -       ¼ cup
  8. Potato, chopped       -       ½ cup
  9. Peas                         -       ½ cup
  10. Carrot, chopped       -       ½ cup
  11. All-purpose flour      -       2 tbsp
  12. Oil for deep frying    -       3 cups

Directions:

  1. Take a bowl, add boiled potatoes (mashed), crushed corns, beans, carrots, blanched and chopped spinach, green chillies, coriander leaves, all-purpose flour, salt and mix it like a dough.
  2. Cut rounds from bread slices using a cutter or lid.
  3. Take the vegetable mixture and put some on the bread slice and spread evenly on one side.
  4. Apply some maida slurry (mix maida with water) and sprinkle sesame seeds over.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the gold coins over medium flame until they turn golden in color.
  6. Serve hot with Chilli garlic sauce.
