Ingredients used in Gobhi pakora
• Cauliflower florets,boiled - 400 grams.
• Oil - 1 tsp + frying teaspoons.
• Hot & sweet sauce - 2 teaspoons.
• Vinegar - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Soy sauce - 1 teaspoons.
• Ginger-garlic paste - 1 teaspoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Maida - 1 cup.
• Cornflour - 1/2 cup.
• Soda bicarbonate - a pinch.
Method:
Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Mix together cauliflower, Sichuan sauce, vinegar, soy sauce, ginger-garlic paste, salt in a bowl. In another bowl, mix together refined flour, cornstarch, soda bicarbonate and little water to make a batter. Add 1 tbsp oil and mix well. Dip the marinated cauliflower florets in the batter and slide into hot oil. Deep fry the pakodas till half done. Drain on absorbent paper. Reheat the oil and fry the pakodas till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
