Ingredients used in GARLIC RASAM
• Tumeric powder - 1 pinch.
• Tamarind - 2-3 cups.
• Pepper corns - 5 piece.
• Cumin seeds - 3 tablespoons.
• Garlic - 100 grams.
• Red chillie - 2 numbers.
• Oil - as required.
Method:
  • In a blender, add 75 grams of garlic, cumin seeds, peppercorn, turmeric powder, red chilies into a mixture.
  • In oil, fry cumin seeds, mustard seeds, and remaining 25 grams of garlic, when garlic and add curry leaves, roast till nice aroma comes out then add tamarind water (soak tamarind in water and make as watery).
  • If neccessary add water based on how much water you need for rasam. allow them to boil, when it starts boiling stop and serve with hot rice, dhosai, idli.
