Ingredients used in CORIANDER RICE
• Salt - to taste.
• Green peas - 1 cup.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Cardamom - 1 no.
• Cinnamon - 1 small.
• Cloves - 1 no.
• Rice - 250 grams.
• Green coriander - 1 bunch.
• Cashewnuts - 2 tablespoons.
• Green chilies - 8 no.
• Ghee and oil - as required.
• Onions - 1 no.
Method:
  • Soak the basmati or sona masoori rice for an hour.
  • First put a pan on stove and add some ghee and some oil and add cloves,cinnamon and cardamom then fry for a while.
  • Add chopped onions and slit green chilies and fry them for 3 minutes then add gingergarlic paste and saute for 1 minute.
  • Then add the coriander leaves to it and fry again for 2 minutes.
  • Remove from fire and let it be cool for 5 minutes and grind all the ingredients to a paste. Add some oil in the same pan and add green peas, fry for 2 minutes and add cashewnuts.
  • After frying them add the gound paste, stir them well and fry for 1 minute. Then add the soaked rice then fry for 2 minutes and then put them in to the rice cooker and pour water for rice to cook.
