Ingredients used in Colocasia side dish
• Cumin powder - half teaspoons.
• Chilli powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Gram flour - half cup.
• Colocasia-medium sized - 4 numbers.
• Salt - 1 teaspoons.
• Oil - 4 teaspoons.
Method:
1) Cook the Colocasia with water in a pressure cooker till it becomes soft enough to crumble, or else cook in microwave along with water for 10 min. 2)Remove the skin and roughly crumble the Colocasia with finger tips. 3) Make a paste of gram flour, chilli powder, cumin powder and salt till reaches pancake mix#39;s consistency. 4) Dip the crumbled colocasia pieces into this paste so it coats the vegetable lightly. 5) Heat the Oil in a wok on medium high heat and add the dipped crumbles, immediately reduce the heat to low. Swirl the wok so every piece recieves sufficient oil from time to time. 6) When one side turns crisy-golden-brown, turn it to the other side. After it is uniformly done, turn off heat and serve while hot.
