Ingredients used in Citron Pickle
• Oil - 2-3 teaspoons.
• Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Dry red chillies - 3-4 numbers.
• Asafoetida - 1-2 pinch.
• Curry leaves - 1 springs.
• Fenugreek - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Citron - 1 numbers.
• Red chilly powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, dry red chillies, asafoetida, curry leaves and saute it, switch off flame.
  • Roast the fenugreek and transfer into mixie jar to make powder.
  • Cut citron into small pieces and transfer into a bowl.
  • Add fenugreek powder, red chilly powder, salt and mix slightly.
  • Add above tempering and mix it.
  • Now citron pickle is ready to serve with any curd rice or any rice.

I have already eaten this pickle but yours is a new way of preparation. So I will try Dabbakaya pickle this way.?
