Ingredients used in Christmas Cake
• Unsalted butter - 1 cup.
• Brown sugar - 1/2 cup.
• Powdered sugar - 1 cup.
• Eggs - 4 large.
• All purpose flour - 1 cup.
• Walnut - 2 cup.
• Dates - 2 cup.
• Salt - 1/2tsp .
• Baking powder - 1/2 tsp .
• Baking soda - 1/2 tsp .
Method:
Preheat the oven at 350 F and grease wax paper on a baking tray. Sift together the All purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Cream together the butter + sugars and then beat in the eggs one at a time. Now whisk the flour mixture into the above. Add in the dates and walnuts and mix well. Pour the batter on the above greased tray carefully to spread uniformly by placing the mixture first at the sides of the tray. My husband lovesamp;enjoys this cake more than any other cake and I wish Sanjay you make this cake in a show. Try it out and you will really enjoy it.
