Ingredients used in CHICKEN REZURRY
• Chicken - 2 lbs.
• Clove - 6 pieces.
• Black pepper - 6 pieces.
• Onions - 2 numbers.
• Garlic paste - 2 tablespoons.
• Ginger paste - 3 tablespoons.
• Chilies - 4 pieces.
• Red chilli - 3 pieces.
• Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Curd/yogurt - 5 tablespoons.
• Salt - 3 to taste.
• Black pepper powder - 2 tablespoons.
• Oil - 0.
Method:
  • Marinate Chicken with curd, salt and 2 tablespoons of black pepper powder and keep in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  • Make a paste of onion, green chilly. Now heat the vegetable oil in the oven over medium heat and add cloves, red chilies and green pepper ( coarsely crushed) till the red chilies become reddish black.
  • Then add onion and green chilly paste, salt, coriander powder and heat it for 5 minutes in medium heat and then add ginger and garlic paste and heat it for 5-7 minutes till it becomes light yellow in color.
  • Now add marinated chicken and mix it properly.
  • Cover and Cook it on low steam for 15 minutes.
  • Now serve it hot with fried rice.
