Ingredients used in CHICKEN JALFREZI
• Salt - to taste.
• Green chillies - 3 no.
• Bell pepper - 2 no.
• Garam masala - 1 tablespoon.
• Tomatoes medium - 2 no.
• Onions - 2 large.
• Bone less chicken (preferably breast) - 500 grams.
• Chilli powder - to taste.
• Turmeric powder - half tea spoon.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Corriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Oil - as required.
Method:
Wash the chicken and to that add ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder, garam masala,salt and chilli powder.Marinate this for 2 hours. Heat oil in kadai and add onions,green chillies bell peppers and fry it in a slow flame. Add 1tomato to this and let it fry for 2 to 3 mins. Take another pan heat 2 tbsp of oil add marinated chicken and fry it for 5 mins and to this add 1 tomato and cook well till the chicken is cooked properly and after that add the vegetables already fried and mix it well.Garnish with corriander leaves.
