Ingredients used in Chennai Mutton Chukka
• Mutton - 300 grams.
• Garlic - 10 numbers.
• Fennal seeds - 3 teaspoons.
• Chilli powder - 2 teaspoons.
• Coriander powder - 4 teaspoons.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Red chilli whole - 4 numbers.
• Salt - to taste.
• Curry leaves - 1 spring.
• Corinder leaves - 1/2 bunch.
• Oil - as required.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Cook the mutton into the pressure cooker around 5 to 6 vessels.
  • Take fennel seed, garlic with skin. make acoarsepaste without adding water in a blender.
  • Heat a pan with oil add the mixture of fennel and garlic paste, mix for 1minute and Add 3 to 4 red chilli whole (Red Chilli is Optional).
  • Add Curry leaves, add cooked mutton, add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix it well.
  • Add the stock of mutton, balance in the pressure cooker. cook until the moisture evaporate.
  • Add Corianderleaves and its ready to serve.
