Ingredients used in Channa Dal Sooji Halwa
• Water - as required.
• Chana dal (soaked) - 1 cup.
• Ghee - 2 tablespoons.
• Chironji - 1 tablespoon.
• Raisins - 1 tablespoon.
• Semolina - 1/2 cup.
• Sugar - 1 cup.
• Cardamom powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Almonds flakes - 10 number.
• Cashew nuts powder - 1/2 cup.
Method:
  • Pressure cook the soaked chana dal, strainit, grind to a finepowder and keep aside.
  • Take a pan, add ghee, chironjiseeds, raisins, chopped almonds, toss it, add semolina, sautétill semolina losses its raw flavors.
  • Now add half a cup of sugar, prepared chana dal powder and cook tillit reaches to the desired consistency.
  • Add cashew nuts powder, cardamom powder, mix well and turn off the flame.

Delicious Channa Dal Sooji Halwa is now ready to serve
