Ingredients used in Buri Daikon
• Buri (yellowtail) fillets - 4 numbers.
• Radish (daikon ) - 500 grams.
• Ginger - 1 tea spoon.
• Soy sauce - 4 tablespoons.
• Sake - 1 tablespoon.
• Sugar - 2 tablespoons.
• Mirin - 3 tablespoons.
• Water - as required.
Method:
  • Pour boiled water over buri and drain. Peel daikon radish and cut into medium chunks. Slice ginger root.
  • Put about 3 cups of water in a pan and simmer daikon with ginger slices.
  • Add buri, soy sauce, sugar, sake, and mirin in the pan. Let it boil and simmer it till yellowtail get tender.

Serve hot
