Ingredients used in Burgol Halwa
• Burgol rava - wheat rava - 2 cup.
• Ghee - 3 tablespoons.
• Milk - 2 cup.
• Jaggery - 5 piece.
• Almonds,cahews, raisins, cardamom powder - 5 to taste.
• Sugar - to taste.
Method:
Add ghee in a bowl and add crushed almonds, cashews, raisins, cardamom powder on slow fire. In the mean time wash the Wheat rava which is called burgol. After washing nicely strain the water and mix it in the bowl where ghee and dry fruits are being fried. Keep mixing still all the burgol fried properly. Boil 2 cups of milk and add in the bowl as its cooking when total milk is being observed add Jaggery and mix well. If you like to have more sweetness you can add little sugar for taste. In 15 mins Burgol Halwa is ready.
