Ingredients used in BUN NIPPATTU
• Potatoes(big) - 1 number.
• Oil - to fry.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Onions(slices) - 1 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Asafoetida - 1 pinch.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Garam masala - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1/4 bunch.
• Ground nut - 1/2 cup.
• Rice flour - 1 cup.
• All purpose flour - 1 tablespoon.
• Semolina - 1 tablespoon.
• Green chillies - 1 number.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Roasted channa dal - 1 tablespoon.
• Green chutney - 1 tablespoon.
• Sweet chutney - 1 tea spoon.
• Burger bread - 1 number.
Method:
  • Boil the potatoes and remove the peel and cut into long pieces.
  • Heat 2 tablespoon oil in pan and add mustard seeds, onions, salt, asafoetida, turmeric powder, red chili powder, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, garam masala, potato, and coriander leaves, mix it then switch off the flame.
  • Take the blender and add ground nut and blend it into a coarse powder.
  • Take a bowl and add rice flour, all purpose flour, semolina, green chillies, salt, channa dal, coarse powder of groundnut and mix it and add water and make the dough.
  • Apply oil to the polyethene sheet and place the small dumpling of the dough and press it with hand and make nippattu.
  • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the nippattu until golden brown in colour on slow flame and keep aside.
  • Cut the burger bread into 2 half and on one half spread the pickle.
  • Place the potato mixture and on top place the nippattu.
  • To it apply green chutney and sweet chutney.

Now place other half burger bread and serve it.
