Ingredients used in Bread upma
• Garam masala powder - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Green chilli, finely chopped - 3 numbers.
• Medium tomato, finely chopped - 2 numbers.
• Medium white onion, finely sliced - 1 numbers.
• Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Ghee/ oil for saute - 1 teaspoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Curd - 2 tablespoons.
• Bread slices, torn to small pieces - 6 numbers.
• Coriander leaves, finely chopped - 1/2 bunch.
Method:

Heat ghee/oil in a thick bottomed pan. Add the mustard seeds in. When they begin to crackle, add the onions and saute till they are golden brown. Now add in the tomatoes and cook well on high flame for a minute or till done. Then add the chillies, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt. Quickly mix them together. Pour in the curd and mix well. Add in the bread pieces and stir well till nicely coated with the masala. Let cook on high for a minute or two. Turn the flame off, and add garnish with coriander. Put a lid on and let stand for about a minute to keep the bread remain moist and absorb all the flavours. Serve hot!
