Ingredients used in bread kothu (veg or non veg)
• Cumin powder - 1/4 tsp teaspoons.
• Lime juice - 1/2 tsp numbers.
• Garlic paste - 1/4 tsp small.
• Veg or meat - as needed small.
• Oil - 2-3tsp ml.
• Curry leaves - 6-7 piece.
• Bread slices - 5 numbers.
• Egg - 1-2 numbers.
• Greenchilli - 2 numbers.
• Onion - 1/2 big.
• Chilli powder - 1/4 tsp teaspoons.
• Corriander powder 1/2 tsp - 1/2 tsp teaspoons.
• Water 2-3 tsp) - 2-3 tsp) teaspoons.
• Corriander leaves - to garnish springs.
Method:
cut bread slices in to cubes (small). In a non stick pan add oil, once its heated add green chilli and curry leaves, then onions and garlic, once onion is slightly golden add vegetable or the meat and add salt corriander, and cumin powder, once its cooked push all the cooked items to the side of the pan and pour the beaten egg and break the egg in to small peaces and wait till its completely cooked and at last add the bread peaces, the add the chlli powder, add more salt if needed, if the bread is dry add (springle) a bit of water (2-3 tsp) turn off the stove and add the lime juce , garnish it with corriander. ( if you use meat you can marinate the meat with ginger and garlic paste and a bit or curry power).
