Ingredients used in Banana Buns
• Yeast - 1 tea spoon .
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon .
• Cooking soda - 1/2 tea spoon .
• Salt - as per taste .
• Jeera - 1 tea spoon .
• Sour curd - 1/2 cup.
• Ripe banana - 2 numbers.
• Oil - .
• Sugar - 1 cup.
• Maida or all purpose flour - as needed .
Method:
1. In a vessel mash the peeled banana with the help of your hand, in to very fine paste ( do not grind in mixer or food processor). 2.add in sugar and curd, mix till the the sugar dissolves. 3. add remaining ingredients i.e. turmeric powder, soda, salt, yeast, one table spoon of oil, jeera. 4.Finally add maida slowly into the mixture and kneed into a dough. 5. Keep the dough overnight for fermenting at room temperature (27-30 degC). 6. Roll the dough into fine balls, like for puris ,and similarly flatten it with the help of roller. 7.Heat oil in a wok for frying and fry the buns on medium flame.
