Ingredients used in ALOO CHEELA CHANA CHAT
• Moong dal - 1/2 cup.
• Chana dal - 1/2 cup.
• Urad dal - 1/2 cup.
• Green chilli paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Kabuli chana - 1/2 cup.
• Potato - 100 grams.
• Sprouts - 1/2 cup.
• Tomato - 1 number.
• Onions (chopped) - 1 number.
• Green chilli (chopped) - 2 number.
• Red chilli powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Green chutney - 1 tea spoon.
• Sweet chutney - 1 tea spoon.
• Chaat masala powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Lime juice - 1 tablespoon.
• Yogurt - 2 tablespoon.
• Coriander leaves - 1/2 bunch.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • Blend soaked lentils (Moong dal,Urad dal,Chana dal) green chilli paste, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, then make it into a fine paste and keep aside.
  • Meanwhile for preparation of chaat, combine soaked and boiled kabuli chana,boiled potatoes,mixed sprouts, tomato slices,onions coriander leaves, green chillies,red chilli powder,green chutney,sweet chutney,chaat masala powder,lemon juice and yogurt and mix well all the ingredients in a deep bowl.
  • Transfer lentils mixture into a bowl,add some salt and mix well.
  • Heat a nonstick pan,pour ladle full of batter on tawa,drizzle some oil around,Cover and cook till both sides are cooked.
  • Top it with prepared chaat mixture, gently flip it on other side and serve hot with garnished lettuce leaves.
