Ingredients used in Akoori (Masala Scrambled Eggs)
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - to taste.
• Ghee - 3 tablespoons.
• Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Garlic cloves (chopped) - 2 numbers.
• Green chilies (chopped) - 3 numbers.
• Tomato (chopped) - 1 large.
• Onion (chopped) - 2 large.
• Eggs - 6 numbers.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • Heat ghee and fry the onion until golden brown.
  • Add cumin seeds, chili, garlic, turmeric powder and salt and saute for a minute or two.
  • Mix in tomato and saute for another minute.
  • Lightly beat the eggs and add to the above mixture.
  • Scramble.
  • Finally, garnish with coriander leaves and serve immediately on toast.
