Ingredients used in Yam Tandoori
• Yam (slices) - 6-8 number.
• Water - as required.
• Yogurt - 1 tablespoon.
• Kashmiri red chili powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Amchur powder / dry mango powder - 1 pinch.
• Coriander powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Garam masala - 1 pinch.
• Turmeric powder - 1 pinch.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Lime juice - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Onions (long slices) - 1 number.
• Oil - 2 teaspoons.
Method:
Cut yam into slices and boil in water until it is 80% cooked. Transfer to a plate. In the same plate at one corner, add yogurt, kashmiri red chili powder, amchur powder, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, lime juice, salt and mix nicely. Coat this mixture to yam slices and place it on a hot grill pan with little oil and cook it. Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with onions. Now the Yam Tandoori is ready to serve.
