Ingredients used in Tomato Capsicum Onion Chicken Curry
• Onion (chopped) - 2 0.
• Chicken pieces - 1 cup.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Capsicum cubes - 1-2 number.
• Tomatoes seeds - 1 tablespoon.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Tomato puree - 1/4 cup.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Garam masala powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Mixed herbs - 1 tea spoon.
• Capsicum (slices) - 1 number.
• Coriander leaves - 1 bunch.
• Tomato (slices) - 1 number.
• Wheat flour - 1 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • Grind fine paste of onion and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add onion paste, chicken pieces, turmeric powder, cook it with closed lid till chicken oozes out moisture from it.
  • Make a fine paste of capsicum cubes and tomatoes seeds.
  • After chicken is 70% cooked, add ginger garlic paste, tomato puree, along with capsicum paste, mix it with a seasoning of salt, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, garammasala powder.
  • Cook this with closed lid till gravy gets to desired consistency.
  • Then add mixed herbs, chopped onion and capsicum slices and cook it for 2 more minutes.
  • At last, sprinkle coriander leaves and tomatoes slices on top of the gravy and switch off the flame.
  • Prepare roti's with wheat flour atta by seasoning with salt and serve with Tomato Capsicum Onion Chicken Curry.
