Ingredients used in Tomato bath
• Ginger(chopped) - 1 inch piece.
• Onion (medium size) - 1 number.
• Green chilly chopped - 3 numbers.
• Asafoetida - 1 pinch.
• Cashew nuts - 5 grams.
• Urad daal - 1 tea spoon.
• Chana daal - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Mustard seeds - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Tomatoes - 2 cups.
• Water - 3 cups.
• Rava (semolina) - 1 cup.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Salt - to taste.
• Turmeric powder - 1 pinch.
• Lime juice - 1 tablespoon.
• Ghee - 1 tablespoon.
Method:
  • Heat ghee in a pan add mustard seeds, when mustard seeds is splutter, add cumin seeds, chana daal, Urad daal, cashew nuts, cook this cashew nuts gets golden in color,
  • Add asafoetida,chopped green chilly, chopped onions, chopped ginger, curry leaves, turmeric powder, salt, tomatoes, water, comes to boil squeeze lime juice.
  • Now add semolina (dry roast them) mix this well put the lid on let it cook for 3 minutes, switch off the flame, let it rest for 3 minutes then serve it.

Serve this with gun powder, peanut chutney, and sugar.

Chef... There exists a legendary chutney which is super spicy and is served in villages usually in AP. I've been trying unsuccessfully to replicate it but was unsuccessful. Do you have any idea what Chutney I am talking about? I need that recipe
