Ingredients used in Sweet mango pachadi
• Dry red chilies - 8 number.
• Toor dal - half cup.
• Oil - as required.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Mangoes (chopped) - 1 number.
• Water - as required.
• Jaggery - half cup.
• Red chili powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Coconut pieces (chopped) - half cup.
Method:
  • Dry roast dry red chilies, toordal and grind to a coarse powder.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, dry red chilies when they sizzle, add curry leaves, chopped mango pieces, cook for about 1 to 2 minutes then add water and cook by stirring occasionally.
  • Add jaggery to the same pan and cook till mango pieces turm tender.
  • Now add chopped coconut pieces, red chili powder, prepared toordalpowder and stir it well.

Sweet Mango Pachadi is now ready to serve.
