SWEET CORN DHOKLA

Ingredients used in SWEET CORN DHOKLA
• Corn meal flour - 1 cup.
• Chickpea flour - 1-2 tablespoons.
• Semolina - 1 tablespoon.
• Sweet corn - 1 tea spoon.
• Sweet corn paste - 1/2 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Asafoetida - 2 pinch.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Green chili paste - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Buttermilk - 1/2 cup.
• Fruit salt - 1 tea spoon.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Mustard seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Green chillies(chopped) - 2 numbers.
• Curry leaves - 1 spring.
• Sugar - 1 tea spoon.
• Lime juice - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
Method:
  • Take a bowl and add corn meal flour, chickpea flour, semolina, sweet corn, sweet corn paste, salt, asafoetida, turmeric powder, green chili paste and mix nicely without lumps using buttermilk, little water.
  • Add fruit salt, mix thoroughly and transfer into oil greased tray and steam it for 15 minutes until it is cooked perfectly.
  • Remove dhokla from the steamer.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, green chillies, asafoetida, curry leaves, sugar, little salt, lime juice, little water and boil it, later add coriander leaves and pour it on top of dhokla.

Now the tasty dhokla is ready to serve.
