STREET STYLE BHUNA CHICKEN

Ingredients used in STREET STYLE BHUNA CHICKEN
• Chicken - 500 grams.
• Dry red chilli - 10-15 numbers.
• Coriander seeds - 2 tea spoon.
• Dry coconut (slices) - 1/2 cup.
• Pepper corn - 1 tea spoon.
• Cardamom - 4 numbers.
• Cinnamon(1 inch pieces) - 3 numbers.
• Cloves - 3 numbers.
• Star anise - 1/2 piece.
• Oil - as required.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Onions (chopped) - 2 numbers.
• Salt - to taste.
• Turmeric - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Fennel powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tablespoon.
• Tomato puree - 1 cup.
• Cashew nut powder - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
  • In a hot pan add dry red chili, coriander seeds, dry coconut pieces, peppercorns, cardamoms, cinnamon sticks, cloves, star anise dry roast all ingredients and transfer to plate and let it cool down.
  • In a blender add all roasted ingredients and make it into a fine powder.
  • Heat oil in a pan add curry leaves, chopped onions, salt saute it until the onions are golden brown.
  • Add turmeric powder, fennel powder, cumin powder, ginger garlic paste cook it till ginger garlic raw flavor is gone.
  • In this add chicken pieces mix it well and cook it for 5 minutes with the lid on.
  • After 5 minutes add tomato puree cook it for 2 minutes then add prepared masala and mix it well.
  • Finally, add cashew nuts powder mix it and cook it for 2 minutes then serve it with rice.
