Ingredients used in Shifta (mutton, beef or fish)
• Minced (beef or mutton or fish) - 500 grams.
• Onions - 2 numbers.
• Mint leaves - 1 bunch.
• Salt - to taste.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Ginger - 1 piece.
• Eggs - 2 numbers.
• Bread - 1 slice.
Method:
  • Mince all ingredients and mix all together with eggs and bread .
  • Then divide into approximately a dozen portions.
  • Ball each portion and pass a through ,moulding it in a long roll round the skewer.
  • Roast on open fire till it is stiff and slides off gently.
  • Before serving fry in oil and serve garnished with parsely.
