Ingredients used in Semiya Daddojanam
• Water - 1+1/2 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Semiya - 1 cup.
• Oil - 2-3 teaspoons.
• Cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Mustard seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Ginger(finely chopped) - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Chana dal - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Urad dal - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Pepper corns - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Dry red chillies - 2 numbers.
• Curry leaves - 1 springs.
• Yogurt - 1 cup.
Method:
Boil water in a pan with little salt. Heat oil in a pan, add semiya and roast it. Add it to boiling water pan and cook it. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, ginger, chana dal, urad dal, pepper corns, dry red chillies, curry leaves and saute it. Once semiya is cooked add yogurt and mix it, later add tempering and mix nicely. Check for seasoning, add salt and mix it. Now semiya daddojanam is ready to serve.
