Ingredients used in Red Soya Bean Paratha
• Oil - as required.
• Red soya beans - 1 cup.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Garlic (chopped) - 6 cloves.
• Potatoes (boiled & grated) - 2 number.
• Chat masala - 1 tea spoon.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Mixed herbs - 1 tea spoon.
• Cheese (grated) - 1/2 cup.
• Wheat flour - 1 cup.
• Water - as required.
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan, add red soya beans, fry well, add cumin seeds, finely chopped onions, salt, cook well and transfer to a blender and grind to a fine paste by adding chopped garlic.
  • Take boiled and grated potatoes on a plate, add the prepared paste, chat masala, red chili powder, mixed herbs, grated cheese, mix well, shape them into small dumplings and keep aside.
  • In a bowl, add wheat flour, salt, oil, water, mix it to a stiff dough and let it rest for about 10 minutes.
  • Now roll the dough into small rotis, stuff them with the prepared soya beans dumplings, seal them properly and roll them back to rotis and fry them on both sides.

Delicious Red Soya Bean Parathas are now ready to serve with raitha or chutney of your choice.
