Ingredients used in Quick Bread Scones
• Butter - 1/4 cup.
• Salt - 1 pinch.
• Baking powder - 1 tablespoon.
• All purpose flour - 2 cups.
• Milk - 3/4 cup.
• Sugar - 2 tablespoons.
Method:
  • In a bowl add all purpose flour, baking powder, salt, butter, mix it well and add sugar mixed milk mix it gently like a soft dough.
  • Roll this into inch thick, take fluted cutter and cut them into rounds, transfer into baking tray,
  • Give the milk wash and bake them at 220 c for 10 minutes.

hey chef we have tea with milk hahaha, I tell you [being British] these are great if you slice them in 2 and spread butter/strawberry jam and put some clotted cream on :then press em back together :) yummy

The traditional English way to eat these is with clotted cream (which is a cream that is so thick it is almost like butter) spread thickly on top, and strawberry jam or preserve, and yes, a cup of tea with milk to drink with it.
