Ingredients used in POCKET CHAPATHI
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Onions (finely chopped) - 1/4 cup.
• Tomato (finely chopped) - 1/4 cup.
• Carrots (finely chopped) - 1/4 cup.
• Beans (finely chopped) - 1/4 cup.
• Red chilies (finely chopped) - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Coriander powder - 1 pinch.
• Cumin powder - 1 pinch.
• Red chili powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Wheat flour - 1 cup.
• All purpose flour - 1 tea spoon.
• Water - 1 cup.
Method:
  • Heat little oil in a pan, add chopped onions, tomatoes, carrots, beans, red chilies and saute it on slow flame.
  • Then season it with salt, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder and mix well.
  • In a bowl, add wheat flour, a pinch of salt, 1 teaspoon of oil and prepare a thick dough by adding water to make rotis.
  • Prepare a slurry of all-purpose flour with water and keep aside.
  • Divide dough into portion and roll into chapati then cut into small rounds and stuff it with vegetable mixture by removing the excess portion of roti while cutting.
  • Later apply slurry to corner then close edges in a semi-circle like as shown in the video.
  • Heat half teaspoon of oil in a pan, place pocket chapatis and cook it on both sides by applying oil then switch off the flame.

Now pocket chapattis are ready to serve with tomato ketchup.
