Ingredients used in Peas Masala
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Ginger- small piece (grated) - 1 tea spoon.
• Garlic- (crushed) - 3 clove.
• Medium sized tomato (chopped) - 1 number.
• Large onion(chopped) - 1 number.
• Fresh green peas - 2 cups.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - as required.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Urad dal - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Chopped cilantro (coriander) leaves - 1 bunch.
Method:
  • Heat oil in wide pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, split black gram and curry leaves.
  • When it splutter add onions and ginger garlic paste . Fry them until golden and crisp.
  • Add chopped tomatoes along with turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and salt. Fry until the masala turns brown and thick.
  • Now add the green peas and cook for few minutes until becomes soft and just tender.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve it with rice or roti.

In the directions you say to add coriander and cumin powders but the list of ingredients do not include these items. Please clarify.
