Ingredients used in PALAKURA(SPINACH) PULUSU
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Besan - 1 cup.
• Tamarind patse - 2 tablespoons.
• Green chillis - 6 no.
• Onion - 3 no.
• Fresh spinach - 1 bunch.
• Dry red chilli - 2 no.
• Clove garlic - 2 no.
• Curry leaves - 1 sticks.
• Oil - as required.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • Process: Clean spinach and chop it finely.dice the onions if big,if small pearl onions can add whole onion.thinly slice green chillies.
  • Now take a deep skillet and add oil.now add mustard,jeera,red chilli when they satrs to splunter add garlic and curry leaves.now add onions and green chillies.fry them till they turn transculent.
  • Now add spinach.when spinach fall down add 12 cup water,tamarind paste,salt and let it simmer for 10 minuteswith the lid closed.see is spinach is cooked if not let it simmer for few more minutes.
  • Now take besan in a bowl add some water mix well with out any lumps.now slowley add besen mix to the curry.
  • This makes curry to thiken up.now its ready to serve hot with rice.
