Ingredients used in PACHI PULUSU
• Tamarind juice - 2 cups.
• Oil - as required.
• Greenchillies - 3-4 numbers.
• Sesame seeds - 2 tablespoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Sugar - 1 tea spoon.
• Onions(chopped) - 1 number.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Dry red chilies - 1-2 numbers.
• Turmeric - 1 tea spoon.
• Curry leaves - 1 spring.
Method:
  • First of all, make tamarind juice and keep it aside.
  • Take oil in a hot pan and add green chilies to saute them.
  • Now add sesame seeds and saute again on slow flame.
  • Meanwhile add salt, sugar to the tamarind juice.
  • When the sesame seeds turn brown in color, switch off the flame and blend it into a coarse paste.
  • Add this paste, onions in the tamarind juice and mix it.
  • For tempering take some oil, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, dry red chilies, turmeric, curry leaves in a hot pan.
  • Add all these in the tamarind juice and mix well.
