Ingredients used in Horlicks Oats Travel Cake
• Horlicks oats - 1 cup.
• Cocoa powder - 1/2 cup.
• Milk powder - 1/2 cup.
• Baking powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Baking soda - pinch.
• Raisins - as required.
• Sugar powder - 1/2 cup.
• Condense milk - 1/2 cup.
• Curd - 100 grams.
• Oil - 1 tea spoon.
• Butter - as required.
Method:
  • Grind Horlicks oats in a blender to a fine powder.
  • Then transfer it to a bowl, and season it with cocoa powder, powder sugar, baking powder, baking soda, milk powder, whisk it.
  • Add condense milk to it and whisk it again.
  • Later take a glass of curd, add water to it and mix well.
  • Now, pour this mixture to the above bowl and mix to a thick cake batter consistency.
  • Sprinkle few drops of oil, add raisins and mix well.
  • Grease cake mold with butter and transfer the cake mixture into the greased mold.
  • Preheat oven at 180 degrees for about 5 minutes, then bake cake mixture for about 45 minutes.
  • Horlicks Oats travel cake can be served by cutting them into pieces.
