Ingredients used in Mysorepak
• Gram flour - 1 cup.
• Ghee(clarified butter) - 2 cup.
• Sugar - 2 cup.
• Water (to get one sugar syrup string consistency) - 1 cup.
Method:
  • Grease a baking dish keep aside Boil the cup of water for a couple of minutes and add sugar till u get a one string kind consistency.
  • Take another thick bottomed vessel (kadai type big one or use nonstick) on the stove top, melt one cup of ghee mix the gram flour without lumps.
  • Then once the flour and ghee are incorporate well, slowly add the sugar syrup . mix them well with no lumps, then once they r mixed well, slowly stir the rest of the melted ghee little by little, and once the ghee leaves out back thats when u shift it to the greased plate.
  • Slightly pat the dish on the desk to remove the air in .. and allow it to cool for 2-3 minutes, then cut them to slices with a greased knife. Its simple and delicious., the more u add ghee, more softer they turn up..

Chef, the vedio did not have the measurements and the procedure here is a little different. Please clarify.

I find the video for mysorepak in youtube. But why is it not put here. In youtube the measurements were not told. so i browsed here, but here there is no video. Anyway it was useful for me by combining the video in youtube and measurements here.
