SWEET POLI

Ingredients used in SWEET POLI
• Coconut(grated) - 1 cup.
• Jaggery(grated) - 1 cup.
• Cardamom powder - 1 tea spoon.
• All purpose flour - 1 cup.
• Wheat flour - 1/2 cup.
• Salt - pinch.
• Oil - 1 tablespoon.
• Ghee - 2 tablespoons.
Method:
  • Heat the pan and add coconut, jaggery and cook it until the jaggery melts.
  • Add cardamom powder to make the round balls and keep aside.
  • Take a bowl and add all purpose flour, wheat flour, salt, 1 tbs oil and mix thoroughly to make a soft dough and apply oil and rest it for 5 minutes.
  • Take the small dumpling of the dough and make the small poori using hand on the oil applied polythene sheet.
  • Stuff the poori with the coconut jaggery stuffing mixture and close the edges and press it again on the polythene sheet.
  • Heat the tawa and cook the poli on both sides using ghee.

Now the sweet poli is ready to serve.
