Ingredients used in Mutton Stew
• Green chillies (chopped) - 1 number.
• Ginger (cut fine) - 1 tea spoon.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number.
• Green beans (cut bite size) - 1/2 cup.
• Peas - 1/2 cup.
• Potatooes (small diced) - 1/2 cup.
• Carrot (small diced) - 1/2 cup.
• Mutton/lamb - 500 grams.
• Garam masala powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Flour - 1 tablespoon.
• Garlic (cut fine) - 1 tea spoon.
• Oil - as required.
• Water - as required.
• Salt - to taste.
• Pepper powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1/2 bunch.
Method:
Cut the meat into small bite size pieces. Heat oil in a pan and saute onion until transparent, Add cut ginger and garlic, green chilli. Now add 1 tablespoon of flour. Add the meat pieces and saute until meat is browned on all sides. Now add 2 cups of water, cook meat until half done. Then start adding the veggies starting with potatoes, then beans, then carrots, then peas. Once all the veggies are added your meat and veggies will all be cooked at the same time. Now add salt, pepper and garam masala powder. Make sure the gravy is not to thin nor too thick. Top with choped fresh coriander leaves. Serve with crusty bread.
