Ingredients used in Mutton Keema Curry
• Minced meat - 1 pound.
• Onion - 1 number.
• Tomato - 1 number.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon.
• Green peas - 1 cup.
• Cashew nuts - 2 tablespoons.
• Cumin powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Salt - 1 tablespoon.
• Mirchi powder/cayenne pepper powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Haldi powder - 1 pinch.
• Garam masala powder - 1/2 tablespoon.
• Coriander leaves - 1 bunch.
• Potato / bottle gourd (optional) - 1/2 small.
• Water - as required.
Method:
  • In a pan add oil/pressure cooker and fry onions till they are light brown.
  • Add green peas and cashew nuts and fry for 2-3 minutes.
  • Now add ginger garlic paste and fry till the raw smell is gone.
  • Then add 1/2 potato or bottle gourd and tomatoes cut into small cubes.
  • Fry the tomotoes till half cooked and then add minced meat, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, Mirchi powder/Cayenne pepper powder, garam masala powder and mix well.
  • Add a cup of water and cook this untill the meat is well cooked.

Garnish with coriander leaves at the end and enjoy with bread or rice.

This was my first time making the curry and it couldnt be better. It exactly tasted like my mom's recipe. Thank you so much for posting this. I will come back to this recipe every time i cook keema curry :)
