Ingredients used in Multani Soofiyani Paneer Tikki
• Paneer - 250 grams.
• Hung curd - 2 tablespoons.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Green chilies (finely chopped) - 2 number.
• Cumin powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Shahi jeera - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Kasoori methi powder (optional) - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Chaat masala - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Roasted chana dal powder - 2 tablespoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - 1-2 tea spoon.
• Onion (cut into dice) - 1 number.
• Capsicum (cut into dice) - 1 number.
• Lime juice - 1 tablespoon.
• Spring onion (chopped ) - 1 tablespoon.
• Garam masala powder - pinch.
• Butter - as required.
Method:
  • Cut the paneer into thick cubes.
  • For marination, take a bowl add hung curd, ginger garlic paste, chopped green chilies, cumin powder, shahi jeera, kasoori methi powder, garam masala powder, chopped spring onions, roasted chana dal powder, salt, oil, lime juice and mix it like a paste.
  • In this, add onion and capsicum dices, slowly mix them with the marination.
  • If using wooden skewers then soak the skewer sticks in water for 30 minutes.
  • Take a wooden skewer at a time start threading marinated onion, capsicum and paneer on the skewers gradually. Later coat paneer pieces with marination on skewer.
  • Then arrange all the skewers in a baking tray. Place the baking tray in the oven and bake it at highest temperature available.
  • Apply some melted butter over the paneer and vegetables and sprinkle little bit of chat masala.

Serve it with mint chutney.
