Ingredients used in MULLANGI PERUGU PACHADI - ( RADISH IN YOGURT)
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Blackgram dal - half cup.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Chopped cilantro - 2 teaspoons.
• Curry leaves - 5 sticks.
• Green chillies - 4 no.
• Mullangi - (radish) - 1 no.
• Ghee - 2 tablespoons.
• Yougurt - half cup.
Method:
Grate mullangi (raddish) and set aside. Cut chillies into small pieces. Heat ghee and fry the mustard seeds and black gram dal, then add curry leaves. Add chillies, grated mullangi(raddish) and turmeric. Mix well, add salt and cilantro, Cook on low heat for 10 minutes. When done, set aside to cool a bit. Mix with yogurt goes well with steamed white rice.
