Ingredients used in Mix Vegetable Cabbage Manchuria in Indo-Chinese Style |
• Water - as required. |
• Salt - to taste. |
• Cabbage (grated) - 1 number. |
• Carrot (grated) - 2 number. |
• Baby corn (grated) - 2 number. |
• Beans (chopped) - 5 number. |
• All-purpose flour / maida flour - 2 tablespoons. |
• Green chilles (chopped) - 4 number. |
• Ajinomoto (tasting salt) - 1/2 tea spoon. |
• Corn flour - 1 tablespoon. |
• Garam masala - 1 tea spoon. |
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number. |
• Ginger (chopped) - small. |
• Garlic (chopped) - 6 number. |
• Sugar - 1/2 tea spoon. |
• Tomato ketchup - 1 tablespoon. |
• Soya sauce - 1 tablespoon. |
• Spring onion (chopped) - 1 bunch. |
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1/2 cup. |
• Chili sauce - 1 tablespoon. |
• Oil - as required. |
Method: |
- Boil water in a pan, season with salt, add grated cabbage, chopped beans, grated carrot, grated baby corn, cook well, strain it, separate the stock and keep aside.
- Now take the strained mixture of vegetables on a plate, add salt, all-purpose flour, chopped green chilies, ajinomoto(tasting salt), corn flour and mix well.
- Shape the mixture into small balls, deep fry in hot oil, transfer to a plate and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a fresh pan, add chopped onions, chopped ginger, chopped garlic, chopped green chilies, saute well,add vegetable stock water, vinegar, sugar, tomato ketchup,chili sauce, soya sauce and cook well.
- Now add the mixture of corn flour mixed with water to slightly thicken the gravy consistency, also add chopped coriander leaves, fried manchurian balls, chopped spring onions and toss it.
