Ingredients used in Methi Malai Prawns
• Prawns - 250 grams.
• Shah jeera/caraway seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Garlic (chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Tomato puree - 1 cup.
• Red chili powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Cumin powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Water - as required.
• Spinach (chopped) - 1 bunch.
• Methi leaves/fenugreek leaves (chopped) - 1 bunch.
• Oil - as required.
• Cream - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan, add shahjeera, chopped onion, salt, chopped garlic, tomato puree, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder along with half a cup of water and let it cook for about 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Now add cashew nut powder and let the gravy come to boil.
  • Then add chopped spinach, methi leaves and cook by stirring occasionally for about 3 minutes.
  • Marinate prawns with salt and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add salted prawns and cook well.
  • Now, add prawns and cream in the above pan and cook for about 2 minutes

Tasty and Delicious Methi Mala Prawns is ready to serve.
