Ingredients used in Melty Nutritional Yeast Cheese Sauce
• All-purpose flour (maida) - 2 teaspoons.
• Water - 2 cups.
• Salt - 1 tea spoon.
• Garlic powder - half tea spoon.
• Mustard paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Cornstarch - 1/4 cup.
• Nutritional yeast - half cup.
• Vegetable oil - half cup.
Method:
  • Mix the dry ingredients in a saucepan. Add1 cup of water and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens and bubbles
  • Remove from heat and whip in oil and mustard paste.
  • Put back on the heat and slowly add the remaining water. Cook until thickened and bubbly (it will have the consistency of a nacho cheese sauce).
  • Spoon onto the pizza or lasagna and broil until golden.
