MARAMARAL VADALU

Ingredients used in MARAMARAL VADALU
• Puffed rice - 2 cups.
• Onion(chopped) - 1/2 cup.
• Green chillies(chopped) - 3 numbers.
• Cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Coriander leaves - 1/2 bunch.
• Salt - to taste.
• Rice flour - 1 tablespoon.
• Chickpea flour - 1-2 tablespoons.
• Oil - to fry.
• Garam masala - 2 pinch.
Method:
  • Wash and strain the puffed rice in water.
  • Take a bowl and add puffed rice, onion, green chillies, cumin seeds, coriander leaves, salt and mix it.
  • To it add little rice flour, chickpea flour, garam masala, little water and mix it.
  • Using hand take small dumpling give the shape of vada.
  • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the vada to golden brown in colour.
  • Transfer into a paper towel.

Now the hot and crispy maramaral vada is ready to serve with sauce.
