Ingredients used in MAHARASHTRIAN POMPFRET MASALA
• Tomato puree, freshly made - 1 number.
• Curry leaves - 1 spring.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Green chillies (crushed) - 1 tea spoon.
• Ginger (crushed) - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Garlic cloves (crushed) - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Garam masala powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Red chilli powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Pompfret fish - 1 number.
• Water - as required.
• Coconut milk - 2 tablespoons.
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
Method:
  • In a plate, take turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, crushed garlic, ginger, and green chillies, add a little salt and mix the spices well.
  • Clean the pomfret and make gashes over the fish.
  • Now stuff the spice mixture into the pomfret, also, coat this spice mixture on the outer cover of pomfrets.
  • Marinate the pomfrets for about 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan, when the oil gets hot, add curry leaves and fresh tomato paste and saute well, cook the tomato paste until the raw flavour is gone.
  • Add little water, gently place the marinated fish in the sauce, cover the pan with a lid and cook for about 5 minutes in slow flame. In between gently turn the fish on the other side.
  • Add little coconut milk and again simmer and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Sprinkle some coriander leaves and switch off the flame.

its not that anyone hate vahchef, its just annoying, because some people like to watch a video at a time, and they are subcribed to other channels on youtube!! its more excitement when vahchef uploads one video, rather then 34 videos or so. not every

Vahchef is so hilarious. If a food network guy could just discover him and make a contract for an indian cooking show. It would be a huge hit just because of HIM. Such an amazing persona.
