Ingredients used in Khoya Mutter Paneer
• Paneer (cubes) - 100 cup.
• Khoya (grated) - 1 tablespoon.
• Green peas/mutter - 1/2 cup.
• Onion (cubes) - 1 cup.
• Tomatoes (cubes) - 1 cup.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Cumin powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Cashew nut powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Mixed herbs - 1 tea spoon.
• Cashew nuts - 5 number.
• Garam masala powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Water - as required.
• Fresh cream - 1/2 cup.
Method:
  • Grind the chopped onions and tomatoes to a fine paste and keep aside.
  • Add oil in a pan, before it gets heated up also add the above-prepared paste and saute it for about a minute.
  • Now add turmeric powder, salt, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder and let this cook on slow flame.
  • When the gravy thickens, add cashew nut powder, grated khoya, mixed herbs, cashew nuts, garam masala powder and cook it well.
  • Add water in small quantitiestill the gravy reaches to the desired consistency, add green peas, paneer cubes and cook well.
  • Top the gravy with fresh cream, give it a mix and serve it hot with roti or rice of your choice.
