Ingredients used in Kashmiri Louze
• Melon seeds - to taste.
• Lemon - 8 no.
• Dalda ghee - 250 grams.
• Lamb - 1 pound.
• Eggs - 14 no.
• Salt - to taste.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon.
• Red chilli powder - 2 tablespoons.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander leaves - half cup.
Method:
  • Pressure cook lamb with salt, Red chilli powder, Turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and water .Cook upto 3-4 whistles till lamb is soft . Let it cool.
  • Take a grinder jar put lamb, break and add 8 unboiled eggs, 8 Lemon juice, 1/4kg ghee, Coriander leavesand grind .
  • Boil 6 eggs in a separate pan and cut into thin round slices for arranging.
  • Take a tawa apply ghee at the bottom and spread a thin layer of the grinded lamb paste. Arrange a layer of boiled and sliced eggs in the third layer put another thick layer of Grinded lamb paste till the eggs are covered.
  • Sprinkle the karboos and tarboos seeds above and cut this into square pieces . In an OTGL put on 10 Minutes on Bake and Grill and on 20 on only bake. Keep checking the colour.
  • If you are cooking on tawa cook on medium flame and coverit with a lid .Cook of 10-15 Minuteswhike checking for the colour.It should be golden brown.
