Ingredients used in Gurda Kapoora Biryani
• Water - as required.
• Oil - as required.
• Salt - to taste.
• Basmati rice - 2 cups.
• Turnip (chopped) - 3 numbers.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Mint leaves - 1/2 bunch.
• Coriander leaves - 1/2 bunch.
• Curd - 1 cup.
• Brown onions - 1/2 cup.
• Green chilies - 2 numbers.
• Kidney - 1/2 cup.
• Testicle - 1/2 cup.
• Saffron water - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
In a pan and add water, oil, salt, basmati rice and cook it well. Take a pan and add oil, turnip, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, mint leaves, coriander leaves, curd, brown onions, green chillies, salt and cook it well. Now add kidney, testicle and cook it. Top it up with cooked rice, brown onions, saffron and put on the lid and cook it. Serve it with raitha.
