Ingredients used in Gurda Kapoora Biryani
• Water - as required.
• Oil - as required.
• Salt - to taste.
• Basmati rice - 2 cups.
• Turnip (chopped) - 3 numbers.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Mint leaves - 1/2 bunch.
• Coriander leaves - 1/2 bunch.
• Curd - 1 cup.
• Brown onions - 1/2 cup.
• Green chilies - 2 numbers.
• Kidney - 1/2 cup.
• Testicle - 1/2 cup.
• Saffron water - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
  • In a pan and add water, oil, salt, basmati rice and cook it well.
  • Take a pan and add oil, turnip, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, mint leaves, coriander leaves, curd, brown onions, green chillies, salt and cook it well.
  • Now add kidney, testicle and cook it.
  • Top it up with cooked rice, brown onions, saffron and put on the lid and cook it.

Serve it with raitha.
