FOO YUNG WITH MAHLAK SAUCE

Ingredients used in FOO YUNG WITH MAHLAK SAUCE
• Eggs - 3 numbers.
• Salt - to taste.
• White pepper powder - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Onions(slices) - 1/2 cup.
• Carrots(julian's) - 1/2 cup.
• Cabbage(julian's) - 1/2 cup.
• Green bell pepper(chopped) - 1/2 cup.
• Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1/2 bunch.
• Green chillies(chopped) - 1 teaspoons.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Dry red chillies - 2 numbers.
• Star anise - 1 number.
• Garlic(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
• Cinnamon powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Red chili paste - 1 tablespoon.
• Celery mixture or schezwan masala - 1 tablespoon.
• Soya sauce - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Vinegar - 1 tablespoon.
• Sugar - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Corn slurry - 1/2 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Take a bowl and add eggs, salt, white pepper powder and beat it.
  • To it add onions, carrots, cabbage, green bell pepper, coriander leaves, green chillies and mix nicely.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon oil in pan and add egg mixture in 3 portion and cook foo yung on both sides.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon oil in another pan add red chillies, star anise, garlic, cinnamon powder, red chili paste, garlic, celery mixture or schezwan masala and saute it.
  • Add soya sauce, vinegar, water and cook it.
  • Add sugar, corn slurry and cook the sauce.
  • Take a serving plate and arrange the foo yung and pour mahlak sauce on top of it.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.

Now foo yong with mahlak sauce is ready to serve.
